KitchenComps — Restaurant Equipment Comps

See under-market comps on eBay and GovDeals restaurant-equipment listings — instant median price and discount while you shop.

KitchenComps shows you the market price of commercial kitchen equipment while you shop eBay and GovDeals. Dealers, restaurant owners, and resellers waste hours cross-referencing listings against sold comps. KitchenComps does it in one glance. ### What it does When you open an eligible listing on eBay or GovDeals, a small badge appears in the corner of the page with: - The matched model (e.g. "Hobart A200" / "Blodgett DFG-100 DBL") - The current local median price across every tracked source - How far under or over market the listing sits - A direct link to the full comp history on app.kitchencomps.com ### Where it works - eBay listings (ebay.com/itm/..., ebay.com/p/...) - GovDeals auctions (govdeals.com/asset/...) ### Why it's safe - No account required to use the extension - Only sends the public listing ID to our API (never page content) - No tracking, no analytics, no third-party sharing - Open-source API — the badge-fetch endpoint is public - Chrome Storage is used only to remember your preferred API endpoint Full privacy policy: https://kitchencomps.com/privacy/ ### Pricing The extension is free. Advanced features (watch lists, email alerts, Slack webhooks, custom catalogs) are available on the KitchenComps web app — sign up at https://app.kitchencomps.com during the beta. ### Supported sites - eBay (US) - GovDeals - Public Surplus, Kitchen Equipment Trader, AllSurplus (web app only — badges land in a future release) ### Feedback hello@kitchencomps.com
