Import DNA matches from MyHeritage and FamilyTreeDNA into your Kinprove genealogy workspace.

Kinprove DNA Importer is a companion extension for the Kinprove genealogy platform. It captures DNA match data directly from MyHeritage and FamilyTreeDNA while you browse, then delivers it to your Kinprove workspace for hypothesis-driven relationship analysis. WHAT IT DOES - Intercepts DNA segment data from MyHeritage chromosome browser and FTDNA comparison pages as you browse normally — no manual export steps required. - Captures match metadata including shared cM, predicted relationship, and chromosome segment positions. - Delivers captured data to the Kinprove side panel, where you can review it and import it into your active project with one click. - Supports CSV downloads from MyHeritage alongside API-intercepted segments from both platforms. HOW IT WORKS The extension runs a lightweight side panel alongside your DNA provider tabs. When you visit a MyHeritage or FamilyTreeDNA comparison page, the extension reads the segment data in the background. A badge appears on the extension icon indicating captured data is ready. Open the side panel, review the match, and click Import — the data lands in your Kinprove project immediately. REQUIREMENTS - A Kinprove account at kinprove.io (free plan available). - An active MyHeritage or FamilyTreeDNA account with DNA results. PRIVACY The extension reads DNA match data only from MyHeritage and FamilyTreeDNA pages you visit. Data is transmitted exclusively to kinprove.io under your authenticated session.
