I used to have the cloud reader on my Chromebook, and it mysteriously went away. Now the new version doesn't allow me to even read a book in my library. Can't begin to know how to fix it.

I specifically selected a book to be downloaded to my Kindle Cloud Reader. When I tried to open it, I was told to download the kindle app. I deleted the book and redownloaded it and same issue.

Trash. I hate how limiting this app is. The restrictions make it impossible to use any accessibility extensions that I typically use. Honestly, this app needs a revamp and should not be difficult to use.

I have been a Kindle customer for years, and have hundreds of books that I have bought. I have also been a Kindle Unlimited customer for years. I have used multiple iphones, laptops, and tablets with very little trouble. I have had my Chromebook for a week and a half and and I can say that I hate this cloud reader there isn't a way to go to a specific chapter, you can only go to the beginning of the book or put in a number location. I have closed the book, and when went back in it didn't go b... Show more

I use google chrome because I have a chromebook, but when I tried to open the kindle cloud reader, it said it didn't support my browser.

From Amazon customer service: "This is not compatible with the Cloud reader." From Kindle Reader "We are sorry. Kindle Cloud Reader is not currently available on this browser. Update to the latest version of the Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox to read on web." I have a Chromebook. My reviews keep getting removed.

I've been using Kindle Cloud Reader on a Dell Chromebook for years. Now it's saying it's not supported, to download Chrome browser. I'm using Chrome on a Chromebook...how much more 'Chrome' can you get? If I navigate to a purchased book through the Amazon site, it will sometimes load but no previous highlights or notes show up & it won't sync so I can continue reading on another device. Very frustrating!!

Last updated in 2014. That's forever in computer talk. And if you're using it on a Chromebook? Forget it. Try using your browser with something like the "ebook offline reader" or the "epub reader" enabled from the web store in it, instead of this one. If you're NOT on a Chromebook, how about using Calibre? You can also install the Linux version on a Chromebook... if you know how to run your Chromebook as a Linux box. If you're on Windows or Linux, though, definitely Calibre and its associate... Show more
