Overview

Put every recommendation from LinkedIn on your own website, faces and names included.

How it works 1. Click Kind Words in your Chrome toolbar. It opens over the page you are on. 2. Press Get my recommendations. Each one comes in with the writer's photo, name and title, and their words exactly as they wrote them. 3. Open the builder, try the layouts, then press Copy code and paste it into your site. Why I made it Every time I got a LinkedIn recommendation, putting it on my website meant copying the words, downloading the person's photo and adding it by hand. I work under NDA a lot and can rarely show numbers, so what people say about working with me is the proof I have. So I made a tool anyone can use for free. Pat ✌️ Layouts and cards Show them as a wall, a carousel, a marquee, a spotlight or a drawer, on portrait, quote or poster cards, in your own type and brand color. A profile with none yet can still try every layout with three samples. Using AI to build your site Press Download instead. You get the section, the photos, the words as data and a prompt telling your AI where each one goes. What Kind Words reads The recommendations people wrote about you, each with the writer's name, title, photo, profile link and date, plus your own name and picture to show who is signed in. Recommendations you hid on your profile stay hidden. They come through the login you already have open on LinkedIn, and your password never reaches the extension. To ask for them, the extension uses that login's session cookies, which go back to the same site and nowhere else. Kind Words only reads, and never posts, messages or connects with anyone. If LinkedIn's first answer comes back incomplete, your recommendations page opens in a background tab and closes on its own once it has been read. Where they go Kind Words has no server and talks only to LinkedIn, so nothing it reads ever reaches us. What it reads stays in Chrome, ready for the builder, until you press Start over or remove the extension. Instructions for popular site builders are at kindwords.weirdos.design/guides. Kind Words is not affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn.
