Here's what's new: 1. Everything you use today stays the same — and stays free The existing ability to drive your browser from a local AI agent is completely unaffected. It remains free and requires no Kimi account login. Nothing about your current workflow changes. 2. CDP permission issue fixed We've urgently fixed a CDP permission issue in the previous release. If you're on the older "Kimi Browser Extension" build, follow the prompt on the settings page to upgrade the Daemon; this new release already includes the fix automatically — no manual steps needed. Please upgrade with confidence. 3. New: Chat with Kimi right in the browser sidebar A brand-new sidebar chat experience is here (requires a Kimi membership account), with two new capabilities: Record to skill: demonstrate how you operate on a webpage, and Kimi learns it into a reusable workflow; Web to cli: parses interaction-heavy websites and turns common operation flows into reusable skills. A note on pricing: only the newly added sidebar features require a Kimi membership. All existing features remain free, with no login required — exactly as before.
