Replaces the chat panel on kick.com with the BetterChat viewer (betterchat.tech/<channel>). Toggle it from the toolbar popup.

KickPlus replaces the chat panel on kick.com with BetterChat, a chat viewer built to be read: no spam walls, no jitter, and settings that stay out of your way once you have set them. One switch in the toolbar turns it on or off. Kick's own chat is never destroyed - it is kept aside and put back, up to date, the moment you switch off. The chat box, the channel header and the player are untouched. WHAT YOU GET • Spam that folds itself away. The same line posted over and over collapses into one message with a ×N count, or disappears entirely - your choice. Emote walls collapse the same way. • Chat you can actually read. Font, size, spacing, background colour and timestamps are yours to set. Give every name a single colour instead of Kick's random ones, or leave them as they are. • Badges under control. Choose which badges appear - broadcaster, moderator, VIP, subscriber, chat level and the rest - and the order they appear in. • Live viewers and active chatters. A chart in the toolbar popup shows the channel's viewer count beside how many different people are actually talking, over the last 5, 10 or 15 minutes. Each line has its own labelled scale, and a gap in a line means the reading was genuinely unknown, not guessed. • Moderation where you are reading. Replacing Kick's message list would take its moderation buttons with it, so KickPlus puts them back: delete, timeout, ban and unban on the message in front of you. Actions run as you, from your own logged-in Kick session, exactly as Kick's own buttons do - Kick decides what you are allowed to do, the same as always. Not a moderator? Switch the controls off. • Events on your terms. Moderation notices, subscriptions, gifted subs and hosts can each be shown or hidden. Deleted messages can grey out, vanish, or stay as they are. • Pinned messages that behave. Hide one instead of dismissing it and bring it back whenever you like, or have them arrive collapsed. • A clear chat button, which empties the panel for you alone. • Click any name for its card - including names mentioned inside a message, the person being replied to, and both names in a ban notice. • For streamers: an OBS overlay mode where messages fade out, and a settings link that carries your whole setup to another device or another person. PRIVACY The extension collects nothing. It stores four switches and nothing else. The chart's readings stay in your browser's memory. For active chatters it keeps only who wrote and when - never message text - and forgets anything older than 15 minutes. Quitting the browser clears it. Chat is fetched straight from Kick by the chat page, exactly as a normal kick.com tab does. BetterChat asks on your first visit before counting you in an anonymous viewer total, and a no means nothing is sent. Your Kick login is read only to carry out a moderation action you clicked, and goes nowhere but Kick. It is read per action and never stored.
