Keep Kick from switching your video quality back to Auto. Kick 1080p selects 1080p at the highest available frame rate when you open a stream or change channels, and corrects persistent quality resets when the page is idle. • Prefers 1080p60 or 1080p when offered, with the best accessible quality as a fallback. • Shows the quality confirmed in Kick’s menu, with clear waiting, fallback, paused, and off states. • Pause for this stream to choose a lower quality or Auto without turning the extension off everywhere. Resume when you’re ready; changing streams or reloading also clears the temporary pause. • Includes a global on/off switch, Apply again, and a Having trouble? guide for website access and reloading. • Waits while you use chat, forms, menus, or popups, preserving your focus and drafts. • Waits during fullscreen, picture-in-picture, and inactive windows. Avoids repeatedly reopening the quality menu. The extension uses Kick’s native quality controls. Its menu may appear briefly while quality is applied. It does not click the video, seek, or adjust the volume. The popup reports the selected quality setting; it is not a measurement of delivered video resolution or connection speed. Some Kick streams require you to sign into Kick or have HD access before 1080p is selectable. This extension does not bypass those restrictions or start a trial. Fixed quality can buffer when your connection cannot sustain it. Pause for this stream to choose a lower quality or Auto in Kick. Privacy: the extension operates locally on Kick pages. Your on/off preference stays in Chrome’s local extension storage. Stream pause is temporary and stays in memory. The extension reads the current Kick address, quality controls, and video dimensions to do its job; it does not transmit them to the developer. No analytics, remote code, or extension account.
