Buying a PC part in the UK? VantaSpec: cheaper elsewhere tells you when another UK shop has the same part for less, without you opening a dozen tabs. Open a product page at one of the major UK PC parts shops. If VantaSpec lists that exact part and a different shop has it in stock for less, a small panel appears with the lower prices and a link to compare every price on vantaspec.com. If nothing is cheaper, or VantaSpec does not list the part, nothing appears at all. How it works: on a product page, the extension sends the page address (without anything after a ? or #) and the price shown to vantaspec.com, and shows the answer. It reads no other pages, no forms and no basket. Nothing is stored against you, there is no account, and nothing is used for advertising. It sends nothing at all until you turn it on from the welcome page that opens after install. Prices come from VantaSpec's own price checks. Popular parts are checked nightly and the rest are refreshed weekly, so always confirm the price on the shop before you buy. Prices shown are before delivery.
