A clear picture. A useful next step. Marginshot captures a page, gives you a calm place to mark it up, and saves a useful image or PDF. Your screenshots and editable projects stay on your device. CAPTURE WHAT YOU NEED • Capture the visible page, drag a selected area, or capture a full page vertically • Watch full-page progress and cancel when you need to • Return to your saved local captures and keep editing MAKE IT CLEAR • Crop, arrows, text and highlights • Solid covers for details you choose to hide in the final export • Select, move and delete marks, edit text, and undo or redo • Copy an image or save PNG, JPEG and PDF OPAQUE COVERS, FLATTENED EXPORTS Image and PDF exports flatten your edits into pixels. Covered original pixels are absent from those exports; PDF pages contain only the flattened final images. Highlights are translucent and are not a privacy tool. Review your result before sharing. Editable projects retain the original image, including covered areas. Save original deliberately exports that unedited image. Delete a project or clear your library to remove its locally saved original; exported files remain wherever you saved them. FREE AND PRO Original captures and original exports are unlimited within your device's storage. Free includes ten new edited captures per device local calendar month. A capture uses one unit only on its first successful edited copy or completed download. Other formats, retries, reopens and later edits of that successfully exported edited capture stay free. The editor shows your usage and next reset date. Marginshot Pro is $7.99 once through ExtensionPay and Stripe, for unlimited new edited captures. No subscription. LOCAL, WITH CLEAR LIMITS Marginshot requests temporary access when you use its toolbar button; it does not ask to read every site in the background. Images, editable projects and project names are not uploaded. Saved work has no automatic expiry; browser profile loss or uninstall can remove it, so keep exported copies. Full-page capture scrolls the main page vertically. Keep its tab active and do not resize or zoom. Browser/protected pages, incognito, sideways or inner scrolling areas, infinite feeds and changing pages may need a smaller capture. Capture is bounded to 80 viewports, 30,000 pixels per side and 64 megapixels. Exports over 32 MB require JPEG or a smaller crop. No video, OCR, cloud storage or hosted sharing. OPTIONAL LAUNCH COUNTS Off by default. If you opt in during the eight-week launch run, Marginshot sends at most one daily batch containing only UTC date, extension version and action counts. No identifier, image, URL, title, project name, dimensions or text is sent. Switching off clears unsent counts. Collection stops at run end and aggregate data is deleted 30 days later.
