Let your agent work in the browser you already use. OVERVIEW This extension connects Chrome to Mirasim, the desktop app that runs AI agents on your computer, or to Mirasim Computer Use, its open-source counterpart that any MCP-capable agent can use. Either way, an agent can complete the web tasks you give it in your own browser, with the sites you are already signed in to. It works in the background through Chrome's debugging interface: it does not take over your window or move it to the front while you keep working. WHAT YOUR AGENT CAN DO - Research across sites you are signed in to and bring the results back to your conversation - Fill in forms, compare pages and collect information into a summary or a file - Upload files you choose and download the files a task produces - Work in a tab you already have open when you point it there - Test and check web pages you are building YOU STAY IN CONTROL - Tabs the agent opens are collected in a tab group named "mirasim", so you can always see which tabs are its own - Tabs outside that group stay yours; the agent does not close them unless you ask it to - A badge on the toolbar icon shows which tab the agent is connected to - Turn browser control on or off at any time: in the Mirasim app under Settings → Computer Use → Browser extension, or with Mirasim Computer Use by stopping its browser bridge GETTING STARTED With the Mirasim app: 1. Install the Mirasim desktop app from https://mirasim.ai 2. Install this extension. It connects to Mirasim on your computer automatically, with nothing to configure 3. In Mirasim, allow browser control in Settings → Computer Use, then ask your agent to do something on the web With Mirasim Computer Use: 1. Install Mirasim Computer Use and this extension 2. Add Mirasim Computer Use to your agent as an MCP server, set to use this extension as its README describes. It starts its browser bridge itself, and the extension connects to it automatically, with nothing to configure in Chrome 3. Ask your agent to do something on the web ABOUT THE PERMISSIONS Chrome will warn that this extension can "read and change all your data on all websites" and "access the page debugger backend". That is what lets an agent read and operate the pages a task needs, on any site you send it to. The extension injects no scripts into pages and has no permission to read your browsing history. PRIVACY The extension only talks to Mirasim or Mirasim Computer Use on your own computer. It sends nothing to any server itself and contains no analytics. Page content an agent reads for your task (text, screenshots, form fields) is passed to the AI agent you use and its model service, as part of that task. See our privacy policy for how that data is handled. REQUIREMENTS Requires the Mirasim desktop app or Mirasim Computer Use on the same computer. If your browser is managed by an organization, its policies may block extensions from controlling pages.
