Launch desktop appointments in Astro Scribe from your browser-based (aka web-app) VPMS/PIMS. Currently supports OpenVPMS.

Astro Scribe Launcher connects your browser-based veterinary practice management system (VPMS) to Astro Scribe — an AI-powered desktop application that automatically transcribes and generates clinical notes from appointments. Currently supports OpenVPMS, with more systems coming soon. How it works: 1. Select an appointment in Workflow → Scheduling 2. Click the blue Start Appointment button that appears in the top right to begin recording 3. Click the red Stop Recording button when the consultation is finished 4. After 30–60 seconds, select the appointment again to insert the generated notes with a single click Requirements: Astro Scribe must be installed on your computer before using this extension.
