Keyword Rank Checker is a free App Store Optimization (ASO) tool for app developers and marketers. Add your app, add the keywords you care about, pick your countries, and see where the app ranks in App Store and Google Play search — then follow how those positions move over time. WHY USE IT Ranking in the top 10 for the right keywords is where organic installs come from. This extension makes checking your positions a one-click habit: open it on an App Store or Google Play app page, click "Track this app", and follow your iOS and Android positions side by side, in up to 10 of 40 countries per app. FEATURES • One-click tracking — open the extension on an App Store or Google Play app page, or search by app name, or paste a store link, App Store ID or Android package name. Track several iOS and Android apps and switch between them in one click. • Keyword rank checks by country — up to 50 keywords per app, up to 10 countries each, 40 storefronts to choose from. • Runs in the background — checks keep going when you close the popup. Requests are spaced out to respect store rate limits, with automatic retry, progress, cancel and resume. • Rank history and changes — every check is saved with a timestamp: current rank (colour-coded top 10 / 11–50 / 51+ / not ranked), change since the last check (▲3, ▼2, new), best rank, and a mini trend chart for each keyword. • Top 3 competitors per keyword — see who holds the top spots for every tracked keyword, right in the table. • Top apps view — the current top 10 for any keyword and country, with ratings and your app highlighted (even when it ranks beyond the top 10). Track a competitor with the same keywords in one click. • Keyword ideas — suggestions from the stores' own search autocomplete (App Store search hints and Google Play suggestions), per country, with optional seed + a–z expansion. Add ideas to your tracked keywords in one click. • Export — current ranks and full rank history to CSV (Excel / Google Sheets ready), plus JSON backup and restore. • Full-page view — open the tracker in a tab for a wide, sortable, filterable rank table. HOW RANKS ARE MEASURED App Store ranks come from Apple's public iTunes Search API (top 200 results per storefront), which closely tracks on-device App Store search. Google Play ranks come from Google Play web search (about 30 results) for each country, in that country's main language. Ads and personalisation are not included, so treat ranks as a consistent estimate that is ideal for spotting trends and measuring the impact of metadata changes. The extension talks directly to Apple's and Google's public store search endpoints when you run a check or ask for suggestions — nothing is sent to us.
