KeyNote
Overview
Adaptive classical music that responds to typing pace.
KeyNote turns browser-based typing into adaptive classical-inspired audio. Write emails, docs, PRDs, pull request comments, notes, or long-form drafts while KeyNote responds to your typing pace. It works quietly in the browser and gives you three ways to make focused writing feel less flat. What KeyNote does: - Ambient mode: soft background music fades in and follows your typing pace. - Per-note mode: each key press triggers a musical note mapped by key position, not by typed character. - Duet mode: your typing triggers short musical motifs over a calm background layer. - Sound packs: start with Focus Classics, then unlock the full premium library with one premium access purchase. - Per-site control: disable KeyNote on any site from the popup. - Local preferences: mode, volume, sensitivity, disabled sites, and licenses stay in Chrome local storage. Privacy promise: KeyNote never reads, stores, or sends what you type. The extension uses timing and activity signals to drive audio. Typed text, page content, key characters, page titles, and URLs are not collected. Premium access: KeyNote is free to install. A one-time $5.99 KeyNote Premium Access purchase unlocks all current v1 premium sound packs together. It is not priced per pack.
