KEYBOARD CONTROLS Use your physical keyboard in letter-building exercises: • A–Z: select an available letter. • Space: select a space between words when available. • Backspace: remove the last letter. • Esc: clear the current word. • Alt+A / O / U: ä / ö / ü. • Alt+Q / S / Z: õ / š / ž. On Mac, use Option instead of Alt. Estonian letters can also be typed directly using an Estonian keyboard layout. Normal text fields keep their usual keyboard behaviour. DICTIONARY EXAMPLES Read Estonian example sentences below introduction cards and after checked answers in supported exercises. Browse another example, choose a dictionary meaning, or open the word in Sõnaveeb. Examples come from Sonapi and are not translated. They may illustrate a different meaning from the exercise. Availability depends on the dictionary service. Examples support introduction cards, letter-building, listening, translation-choice, true/false and writing exercises. Pair matching and form drills are not supported. GETTING STARTED Open https://www.eestilera.ee/s/dictionary/trainer and start practising. Reload the trainer after installing the extension. You need access to the Eestilera portal. The extension supports the trainer's current Russian interface; its own interface is in English. It does not translate the website or change answer checking. PRIVACY Keyboard controls are processed locally. Keystrokes are not recorded or transmitted. To retrieve examples, the extension sends dictionary terms to api.sonapi.ee without account details, cookies or a page referrer. Sonapi receives standard connection information such as your IP address. Unchecked input and incorrect typed answers are not sent. No analytics, advertising, tracking or persistent extension storage.
