Key Browser
Overview
Lets Key control your real Chrome — your profile, your logins — like a human. No debug port, no re-login.
Key Browser lets the Key assistant carry out your web tasks inside the browser you already use - your own profile, your own logins - instead of a separate automated browser. Why that matters:- No re-logging in, no QR re-scans, no second window opening on top of your work.- Actions happen where your session already is, so sites treat them as ordinary use.- It runs in a background tab, so your screen stays yours while a task runs. How it works:Key Browser talks only to the Key desktop app running on the same computer, over Chrome's Native Messaging on 127.0.0.1. We run no server of our own.To decide which button to press next, Key sends a short summary of the page - the visible labels of buttons and boxes - to the AI model it is set up to use. If that is a cloud model, that summary leaves your computer at that point, purely to work out the next step. Your passwords, cookies and session tokens are never read or sent, and neither are pages you did not ask Key to work in. Your logins stay in your browser. What it does when you ask Key to do something on the web:- reads the page you asked it to work in, so it can find the right button or box- performs the clicks and typing you asked for- checks afterwards that what you asked for actually happenedIt does nothing at all until you ask. It does not track browsing, it has no analytics, and it sells nothing.Key Browser is a companion to the Key desktop app and needs it installed to do anything.
