Kempt for YouTube

A consistent redesign of YouTube's UI.

Kempt gives YouTube one clean, consistent design. One accent color and icon set on every page, and less of the clutter YouTube added over the years. It adds watch page tabs beside the player, a subscriptions timeline with date headers, a sidebar with dropdowns, your own font and accent color, videos per row, hidden Shorts, stylized captions, and an optional wavy progress bar. Every change has its own switch. Kempt follows YouTube's light and dark theme and its language. It only changes how YouTube looks: it doesn't block ads or download videos. Kempt doesn't show ads and doesn't collect any data. It runs on youtube.com only and stores nothing but your settings. It is fully open source: https://github.com/remonilo/kempt-yt Before you install, disable other YouTube restyling extensions <3 Icons from Juxtopposed's YouTube Redesign (CC BY 4.0) and Hugeicons.
