BetterKeka helps prevent accidental weekly timesheet submissions and makes your daily Keka workflow smarter and more efficient. In many teams, users mistakenly submit their weekly timesheets too early, which locks entries and requires admin intervention to fix. BetterKeka solves that problem with multiple layers of protection — and goes further with a real-time work progress dashboard, leave visibility, smart save validation, persistent filters, and more. On the allowed day, it adds a confirmation step so you never submit by accident. The popup shows your live weekly progress, remaining hours, upcoming leaves, and lets you refresh on demand. It only modifies the user interface and does not interact with Keka servers or APIs. What's New in v1.9.0 • Firefox Support — BetterKeka is now officially available for Firefox. All features — timesheet locking, live work progress, leave visibility, clock-out reminders, and more — work identically on Firefox. What's New in v1.8.0 • Leave By Time — the popup now shows exactly when you can leave (e.g. "Leave by 6:30 PM") calculated from your clock-in time and a 9-hour daily target. Once you hit your goal it switches to "Goal met — free since X:XX PM", and if you're running over it shows how far past your leave time you are. • Week-Scoped Weekly Goal — any custom weekly goal you set now applies to the current week only. Every Monday it resets automatically to the 45h default with approved leaves already deducted, so a one-off adjustment never carries into the next week by accident. • Goal Reset on Update — stale weekly goal values from a previous week are cleared when the extension updates, ensuring a clean 45h baseline every time.
