Keeptrove – Web Clipper is the browser companion for the Keeptrove desktop app. It saves content you explicitly select while browsing to your local library without uploading it to a Keeptrove cloud service. Key features: - Save web images and choose a folder, tags, and notes before saving. - Capture a selected area, the visible viewport, or an entire page. - Save web articles for offline reading and full-text search in Keeptrove. - Start a capture from the context menu, toolbar popup, or keyboard shortcuts. Requirements: 1. Install and open the Keeptrove desktop app on the same computer. 2. In the desktop app, open Settings > Browser Extension > Connect Keeptrove and copy the local address and pairing code. 3. Enter both values in the extension's connection settings. The extension does not automatically collect your browsing history. It only processes content related to an action you initiate by dragging an image, choosing a capture command, or using a keyboard shortcut.
