Track time spent on websites by day and week
Keep Your Time helps you see where your browsing time actually goes — and do something about it. The extension tracks time per website automatically while you work, study, or scroll. No spreadsheets, no manual timers. What it does • Automatic time tracking — counts seconds only when you are active and the browser tab is in focus. Pauses when you step away or switch to another app. • Hostname only — stores domains like youtube.com or twitter.com, never full URLs, paths, search queries, or page content. You get useful stats without a detailed browsing history. • Popup overview — today's top sites at a glance, with color bars and category dots. • Built-in dashboard — day and week charts, top domains, and category breakdown right in Options. No account required. • Daily limits — set a cap per site. Get a notification when you hit it, or enable hard-block to redirect to a calm block page. Optional grace period when you need a few more minutes. • Focus Mode — schedule when distracting sites are blocked (e.g. no social media 9 AM–6 PM on weekdays). • Categories — group sites into Social, Video, Work, or your own labels to see patterns, not just domain names. • CSV export — take your data with you. • Themes & languages — light/dark mode; interface in Ukrainian, English, Polish, and Spanish. Why people choose it • Works offline — core tracking runs locally. Free forever for personal use, no signup. • Privacy by design — no Google Analytics, no third-party trackers, no ads in the extension or dashboard. • Honest about permissions — broad host access is used only to read the active tab's hostname. Nothing else from the page is saved. • Cross-browser — available on Chrome and Firefox with the same privacy model. Pro (optional) Upgrade when you want more than a week of local history: • Cloud sync — same usage across Chrome, Firefox, and devices • Web dashboard — months and years of history, trends, and filters • Pro insights — weekly review, time recovered, growing distractions, smart limit suggestions • One account — one picture of your time everywhere you browse Pro: from $2.99/month (7-day free trial) or lifetime one-time purchase. Who it's for Students who lose focus on YouTube and Reddit. Remote workers protecting work hours. Anyone who wants visibility into Twitter, X, or social feeds without guilt-driven guesswork. ADHD-friendly: clear numbers, gentle limits, no shame. Permissions in plain language • Tabs & host access — detect the active site (hostname only) • Idle — pause when you're away • Storage — save stats and settings on your device • Notifications — limit alerts and optional reminders • Scripting — sign-in to Pro only on Keep Your Time's own auth page Install, browse as usual, open the popup — and you'll know where your time went today.
