Overview

Switch the internet access policy of devices on your Keenetic router in one click.

Keenetic Policy Switch changes which internet access policy a device on your Keenetic router uses, for example sending a laptop through a VPN or back to the direct connection, without opening the router's web interface. Features • Switch a device between the policies configured on your router, its network segment's policy and the default policy in one click • Device list with search by name, IP or MAC, online status and the current policy of every device • The computer you are using can be recognized and shown at the top of the list (asks first, can be turned off in the settings) • Pin the devices you switch most often to the top and arrange them by drag and drop • Pick a policy right in the list, or on the device's own screen if you prefer • Your computer's policy on the toolbar icon (or the device you last opened, if your computer is not recognized) • Changes are saved to the router configuration and survive a reboot • Works with KeeneticOS 5.0, 5.1, 5.2 and newer; the sign-in method is detected automatically • Local IP address or host name, custom port, HTTP or HTTPS • Light and dark theme, English and Russian How to use 1. Click the extension icon and enter the router address (for example 192.168.1.1), the administrator login and password. 2. Allow access to the router address when Chrome asks. The extension only gets access to that one address. 3. Choose a device and pick a policy. Policies themselves are created in the router's web interface under Connection priorities. Privacy The extension talks only to the router address you enter. The password is stored encrypted in your browser and is never sent in plain text: the router's own challenge-response sign-in is used. If you allow it, the extension recognizes your computer in the device list by comparing its local network addresses with the ones the router reports, inside the browser; the addresses are not stored or sent anywhere, only which router device is your computer is remembered. There are no servers, analytics or ads, and nothing is synced to your Google account. Signing in over KeenDNS remote access is not supported by the router's API, so use the router's local address. Keenetic Policy Switch is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Keenetic.
