A reflex game: whack numpad targets to guard the cat's food. Never hit Meow.
Don't Hit Meow! is a fast reflex game played entirely on your numpad. Nine tiles, nine numbers. Animals pop up trying to steal the food bowl — whack the right key before they get away. One catch: a cat named Maw is mixed in with them, and hitting Maw costs you points and freezes your hammer for a moment. Never hit Maw. HOW TO PLAY - Numpad 7 8 9 / 4 5 6 / 1 2 3 match the nine tiles - No numpad? Use U I O / J K L / M , . instead - SPACE, Enter, or Numpad 0 starts, advances levels, and restarts WHAT'S INSIDE - 11 characters across 10 story levels, one new one each level - A fox that fakes you out, a monkey that grabs the bowl and moves tiles, a boar that takes three hits to fall - Combo multiplier, dried fish that restores lost food, catnip you can hand to Maw to undo a mistaken hit, a slowing bell, and more - Level 10 closes the story; hold out to level 20 for a clean, comparable run - Chiptune music that changes with the story and speeds up as you climb - No account, no ads, no tracking, no network requests. Works fully offline. - English, 日本語, हिन्दी — switch anytime with the G key. Clicking the toolbar icon opens the game in a new tab.
