Tax Not Included
Overview
Include tax in prices because it should be part of the product price.
Prices on most sites don't include tax, so you do the math at checkout. This does it for you, on every price on the page. Set your tax rate once and every price shows with tax included. Hover a price to see what it was before tax. What it does: - Rates are percentages, and stacked taxes add up (GST 5% + PST 7% = 12%). There are presets for Canadian provinces and US states (state rates only, since county and city taxes vary). - Ctrl+Shift+F (or the button in the popup) switches between real and original prices. The badge shows ON or OFF. - Turn it off for a single site, or mark a site as a grocery store to give it its own rate (0% by default, since most groceries aren't taxed). - Checkout totals that already include tax are left alone, so you don't get tax on tax. Pages without prices are never touched. - Handles $1,000.50, 1.000,50 € and 1 000,50. Recognises $, €, £, USD, EUR and CAD. Limitations: the "already includes tax" check only works on English and French wording. Your rates sync through your browser account. Nothing is collected or sent anywhere, and everything runs in the page you're on. Open source: https://github.com/sunnwydays/tax-not-included (bugs and suggestions go in Issues)
