KDP Publishing Assistant opens a side panel on Amazon KDP's title setup pages and checks every field as you fill it in, so Amazon does not send the book back to you. If you wrote the book in AIWriteBook, it also fills the whole KDP form for you, page by page, and you press Publish. WHAT IT DOES Open KDP and start a new title. The panel appears next to the form with a short explanation of each field and a live status for what you have typed. Green means the field passes Amazon's rules. Amber means it will be accepted but could be better. Red means Amazon will reject it or ask you to change it. Nothing is sent to Amazon by the extension. You still review each page and press the buttons yourself. The guidance works for any book, whether you wrote it in AIWriteBook, Word, Scrivener or by hand. GUIDANCE CHECKS ON EVERY FIELD Title and subtitle: length, promotional words Amazon does not allow, and the words that must match your cover. Description: the 4,000 character limit counted the way Amazon counts it, including the HTML tags Amazon lets you use, with a live counter and a preview of how it renders on the store. Keywords: all seven slots, the character limit per slot, duplicate words, words already in your title, and terms from Amazon's banned list such as "free", "bestseller" and competitor names. Categories: how the category picker works, how many you can choose, and which ones fit the book you described. Pricing and royalty: which royalty band your price qualifies for in each marketplace, the minimum and maximum price for that band, and what changes when you flip between 35% and 70%. AI content disclosure: a plain reading of Amazon's rule on AI-generated and AI-assisted content, with a suggested answer based on how the book was made. Paperback: trim sizes Amazon supports, the page count range for the trim and paper you chose, bleed settings, and the ink and paper options that change the printing cost. Cover: the required pixel size and ratio for the ebook cover, the spine width for the paperback based on page count and paper, and the file types Amazon accepts. ONE-CLICK FILL FROM AIWRITEBOOK If the book lives in your AIWriteBook account, pick it in the panel and press Fill on each KDP page. The extension types the title, subtitle, author, description, keywords and categories into the form; then uploads the manuscript file and the cover on the content page; then sets the trim, paper and price options you chose in AIWriteBook. You look over each page, correct anything you want, and press Save and continue or Publish yourself. Ebook and paperback are both supported, and the fill is free on every account. The formatted EPUB and print PDF come from the Pro plan; without it, attach your own manuscript and cover and everything else still fills. CATEGORY AND NICHE FINDER Amazon gives you three categories and seven keywords, and then says its support team cannot advise you on any of them. The finder does that work instead. Give it your book, a genre, a few keywords or the Amazon page you are looking at, and it checks ten candidate categories and twenty keywords against the live bestseller lists in your own browser. It comes back with the three categories to select, the seven keywords to type, one underserved niche worth owning, and for each category the number of sales a day it takes to reach #1 and #10. Press Use these and it fills the KDP category picker and the keyword boxes for you. You can start a run from three places. Inside AIWriteBook, on the Metadata step of the book you are writing, the card at the top of the section runs the research and writes the three categories and the seven keywords straight into the fields you are already filling; the extension has to be installed for that, because Amazon serves those pages to a browser and not to a server. In the toolbar popup, with no book at all, type a genre, a topic or a few keywords. And on the Categories step of the KDP form itself, where the panel offers the result it already has, or a fresh run. It also puts the numbers on Amazon itself. On any book page you get the sales rank, an estimated sales range, the book's age, its page count and whether it is independently published or from a traditional publisher. On any search results page you get the page averages and an opportunity score for that keyword. Your first run is free on every account, on any one book, at full quality with nothing held back. After that the finder is on the Pro and Ultra plans and on AppSumo Tier 3 and Tier 4, at 100 credits a run. Your saved run stays open to you either way. WHAT IT NEVER DOES It never presses Publish for you. It never reads or stores your Amazon password. It never sends anything to Amazon on its own; the only thing it types into the KDP form is what you asked it to fill. It never reads any page other than kdp.amazon.com and aiwritebook.com. It never collects your browsing history. PRIVACY The extension keeps your AIWriteBook sign-in token in the browser's local extension storage so you do not have to sign in every time. When you use the fill, it downloads the metadata, manuscript and cover of the book you selected from your own AIWriteBook account; nothing else. If you send a support message from the panel, the text you type and your account email go to AIWriteBook support.
