Your clipboard, notes and 2FA secrets are encrypted at rest and never leave this device — there is no server to send them to, and there is no analytics or telemetry of any kind. Optional password protection means even that local data can be locked behind a password only you know. In "strong" mode your password encrypts the key itself, so if you forget it, nobody — including us — can recover your data. Optional settings sync: if you choose to turn it on, your LocalGear preferences and focus block-list groups sync across your Chrome profile using Google's own Chrome Sync. It is off by default for new installations, and your clipboard, notes, 2FA secrets and P&L models are never included. ℹ️ GOOD TO KNOW • Clipboard capture sees text you copy with Ctrl/⌘+C or the right-click menu.
