Ban from typing websites ?

Is this extension completely safe to use on typing test websites like nitro type or typeracer . I have heard that they ban users who use extensions to improve their scores but since this extension only changes sound so it should be safe I hope

not working on other tabs

ok so i enable the extension, no sound when typing, i go to kbs.im, now there is sound when typing, i switch tabs to anything else (google, reedsy, etc) no more sound when typing in other tabs. How to I get the sound to stay on when I switch to other tabs? Is there a step in the process that im missing?
