Overview

Courses dubbed by AI, films with translated subtitles: YouTube, Udemy and Coursera in 115 languages. Free to start.

dubly.me – AI Dubbing and Translated Subtitles for YouTube and Online Courses Watch any video in your language. dubly.me translates what is said in real time, while it plays — hear it spoken aloud, follow it as on-screen text, or both at once. TWO WAYS TO WATCH Dubbing: natural AI speech plays over the original, which is turned down. Made for lectures, tutorials and courses — you listen and keep your eyes on the slides, no pausing. Subtitles: keep the original sound and read along. Pick "Subtitles" in the popup and no voice is generated at all — only the captions appear. Made for films, series and anyone who prefers reading to a voice-over. Use both together — handy for learners. Both ways count towards the same daily minutes. HOW IT WORKS It picks up the video's own subtitle track and translates it with AI. The result is then spoken, shown on screen, or both — you switch either one on or off at any time. Every plan uses the same engine and the same 322 voices; on the free plan you choose female or male, and Basic lets you pick the exact one you like. SUPPORTED PLATFORMS YouTube, Netflix, Udemy, Coursera and Vimeo get dedicated support: the controls sit right in the site's own player. On other sites it works with the Basic plan when the page plays a plain video file. 115 LANGUAGES, 322 VOICES The list includes English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Hindi, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese and Korean. On-screen text works in all 115. 76 of them have their own native neural voices; the other 39 borrow a related or multilingual voice, so you may hear an accent. The extension's interface — the popup and the controls on the player — is translated into 102 languages. FREE AND BASIC PLANS - Free: try it right away without an account (10 minutes a day), or 30 minutes a day with a free account — female or male voice, no credit card required - Basic (€5/month): up to 9 hours of dubbing a day, choose your own voice, dubbing for videos without a subtitle track, all platforms, email support PRIVACY FIRST dubly.me does not store what you watch or its audio, and does not read cookies or logins from the sites you visit. Subtitle text is sent to our translation and speech providers, and nothing they receive is retained. On paid plans, a video with no subtitle track of its own can have its audio transcribed instead — the audio is processed and discarded, never stored. No data sold to third parties. Full details: dubly.me/privacy WHY DUBLY.ME? Language learning: follow lectures, documentaries and talks you would otherwise struggle with — keep the original audio with text in your language, or switch back to the original alone to train your ear. Accessibility: translated captions for viewers who are deaf or hard of hearing, and speech for those who find reading tiring. Productivity: watch tutorials and courses in your own language without pausing to read. Films and culture: explore international channels and foreign films with translated subtitles, the original performances left untouched. TECHNICAL DETAILS - Manifest V3 Chrome extension - Works in Chrome, Edge, Brave and other Chromium-based browsers - Translation: context-aware AI models with automatic fallback between providers — see dubly.me/privacy for the full list - Speech: 322 neural voices, the same engine on every plan - Made in the EU, GDPR compliant GET STARTED Install dubly.me, open any supported video and click the extension icon. Select your language, choose dubbing, subtitles or both, and press ▶. Setup takes under 2 minutes. Visit dubly.me for documentation and pricing.
