eX - Trust Meter
Overview
Local trust scores, X account-based-in labels, and timeline filters for X.com.
eX - Trust Meter helps you curate your X timeline using rules you control. Give individual accounts a trust score and your own labels or categories. The compact row appears on regular and quoted posts. For visible authors, it shows X's “Account based in” value automatically when X provides one, without asking you to enter a country. You can dim or hide posts using trust thresholds, categories, verified status, or topic keywords, and hide selected side panels. Trust scores, labels, rules, settings, and retrieved “Account based in” values are stored locally in browser extension storage. To retrieve that value, the extension requests it from X using your existing X session. It has no developer-operated analytics or telemetry. Optional AI features are off by default. If you configure your own AI provider, the extension shows the destination and exact account or rule payload for confirmation before each request. AI output stays a draft until you approve it. The extension works on x.com and twitter.com. It is independent of X and Vivaldi. Filtering changes page visibility, so the site can observe which posts are dimmed or hidden.
