Overview
Mute and unmute individual Google Meet tabs from one popup, without silencing every Meet tab at once.
Chrome's "Mute site" silences every Google Meet tab at once. Meet Tab Mute gives each Meet tab its own mute toggle. Open the extension and you see a list of your open Google Meet tabs. Click the speaker icon next to a tab to mute or unmute it. Other tabs are not affected. Built for facilitators watching breakout rooms, hosts moving between sessions, and anyone with a second call open in the background. Important: muting stops what you hear. Your microphone stays live in every room. Privacy - Collects no data. - Sends nothing over the network. - Stores nothing. - Only reads the titles and addresses of meet.google.com tabs, to list them in the popup. - No analytics, tracking, or ads. Support Provided free, as is, with no support or warranty. The source code is on GitHub and can be modified. Important Support Note Please keep Google Chrome up-to-date. However, when Chrome is updated, this plugin may stop functioning and an indeterminate amount of time will pass until the plugin is updated. This is a hobby zero cost project.
