WebP to JPG Converter
Overview
Convert WebP images to JPG in your browser. Drop files, set quality, download. Works offline, nothing is ever uploaded.
Convert WebP images to JPG without uploading them anywhere. Drop one or many .webp files onto the converter, choose the JPG quality, pick a background colour for any transparent areas, and download the results one at a time or all at once. The conversion runs entirely inside Chrome using the browser's own image decoder, so it works offline and your images never leave your computer. WHY THIS ONE • No upload, no server, no waiting — even large images convert in a second. • Batch: drop a whole folder's worth and click Download all. • Quality slider (default 90) so you choose the size/quality trade-off. • Transparent WebP? Pick the matte colour instead of getting a black background. • Remembers your quality and colour settings between sessions (locally). HOW TO USE Click the extension icon → the converter opens in a tab → drop or choose .webp files → download. PRIVACY The extension does not collect, transmit or sell any data. It has no analytics, loads no remote code, and asks for a single permission (storage) to remember your two settings on your own machine. Published by Miso Developments.
