YouFocus - Hide YouTube Distractions

Works great. was about to write bad review because I turned on the settings I wanted then pressed the you tube icon thinking that would suffice in reloading the page. It doesn't, so if it seems like it's not working, it's most likely because you're not fully reloading the page rather just the videos on the homepage of you tube. Click the actual refresh button and it works like a charm.

As a student who gets distracted easily, I LOVE this extension! It is very easy to use. By clicking on the chrome extension in Youtube, you have the option to hide comments, hide videos, hide sidebars, etc which makes it very simple. It has all worked really well for me and looks very clean. Love it!

Amazing! Doesn't seem to be malicious. Does what it says. The only problem is that if you toggle clean up sidebar, it also nukes the subscription feed that shows you the newest videos from your subscribed channels, meaning you have to check each channel directly to see anything. It would be nice if that was on a separate toggle, so I could get rid of the explore tab and home tab etc, without nuking subscriptions.

Personally I love this extension, very helpful! This sortout my distraction of Youtube.

Exactly what I needed

Want to use Youtube for research or brief entertainment breaks. Unfortunately, the team at Google has developed the product to increase total watch time by hacking our brains to work against us. This extension is the perfect solution to allow me to continue to use Youtube without going down the black hole of related video content.

Finally!! A solution for anyone who gets easily distracted...like me. Now I can watch a video I selected without getting caught up randomly clicking on whatever else pops into view. I love this app!

Probably the most useful extension i've ever had. It saves me so much time in my day to day life as I am not wasting valuable time on my recommended page on YouTube.
