She loves shipping random words together, dropping surprise photo stickers across your screen, highlighting your page text in clashing colours, and generally ensuring you can never fully concentrate on anything ever again. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🎀 WHAT KATIE DOES ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 💕 SHIPS RANDOM WORDS Katie picks random words from your current page and dramatically pairs them as a romantic "ship" — complete with coloured highlights, wavy underlines, hearts, and floating ship name announcements. She has personal favourite ships that she will aggressively promote: BriFi, Jasco, and Brendora. No page is safe from her shipping agenda. 📸 DROPS BLACKMAIL STICKERS Katie periodically drops her personal sticker photos onto your screen. The rate starts at one every 10 seconds — but the more you slap her, the angrier she gets and the faster the stickers fall. At maximum rage, stickers bombard your screen every single second. Click any sticker to dismiss it with a satisfying spin animation. 🌈 HIGHLIGHTS AND RECOLOURS PAGE TEXT Katie randomly selects words on your page and highlights them in bright, clashing, chaotic colours with animated wavy underlines. The corrupted text reverts after a short while — only for Katie to immediately do it again somewhere else. 📈 ESCALATING RAGE SYSTEM Katie has a rage bar. Every time you slap her, her rage builds. Watch her portrait swap through five increasingly distressed expressions. Her border glows brighter red the angrier she gets. Higher rage means faster sticker drops, bonus stickers spawned on each slap, and a pulsing red screen border warning you that things are getting out of hand. 🖱️ CURSOR HEART TRAIL After a while, coloured hearts and emojis begin trailing your mouse cursor across every page. There is no escaping it. ⚡ MAX CHAOS MODE Available from the popup. Instantly triggers a full chaos event: ten stickers drop at once, rainbow animated banners appear, all three canon ship announcements play in sequence, rapid colour flashes strobe the screen, floating text spawns everywhere, and your entire browser window shakes. Katie's rage is set to maximum. 🗯️ SPEECH BUBBLES Katie has a lot to say. She will announce her shipping opinions, complain in Cantonese and English, taunt you for slapping her, and occasionally inform you of her current blackmail drop rate. Phrases include but are not limited to: "你好烦", "你好Kam", "BriFi forever", "I ship it", and "You asked for this." 🚶 KATIE MOVES Katie periodically relocates herself to a random corner of your screen so you can never forget she is there. Here is exactly what each permission is used for and nothing more: • storage — saves your toggle preferences (ships on/off, blackmail on/off, etc.) and your lifetime slap count locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API. No data ever leaves your browser. • activeTab — allows the popup's MAX CHAOS button and toggle switches to send instructions to the currently active tab so Katie responds immediately when you change settings. • alarms — used to periodically trigger chaos events on a schedule (such as ship overlays and background effects) even when the popup is closed, using Chrome's built-in alarm system rather than unreliable background timers. No data is collected, stored remotely, or transmitted anywhere. No browsing history is accessed or recorded. No personal information, passwords, or credentials are touched. No third-party services, APIs, or servers are contacted. All images, audio, and assets are bundled entirely inside the extension package. Text on your page is read locally and only to select random words for visual highlighting — this never leaves your device. This extension is intended purely as a fun, lighthearted, personal entertainment gag.
