Overview
Vedon browser control — lets a Vedon agent see and act on your real Chrome/Edge profile.
Vedon browser control lets a Vedon agent operate the browser you already use — the same profile, with all your logins — instead of a separate, automated browser. How it works • Sees the page through its accessibility tree — roles, names, and text — rather than guessing at pixels. • Acts in place: click, type, check, scroll, navigate, and manage tabs and cookies. Each action is briefly highlighted on the page so you can see what happened. • Connects to the Vedon agent running on your own machine over Chrome's native messaging. The extension talks only to that local agent — it does not send your browsing data to any third-party service of its own. Requires the Vedon agent This extension is the browser half of Vedon. It stays idle until the Vedon desktop agent is installed and running and has connected to it; on its own it takes no action. Why the permissions • Read and change data on sites you visit / scripting — to read page content and perform actions on the pages you direct the agent to. • Native messaging — to communicate with the local Vedon agent. • Tabs, web navigation, cookies, downloads — for the browser-level actions (open/switch/close tabs, navigate, read and set cookies).
