Transphrase — AI-powered translation and paraphrasing for selected text. Translate or rewrite text directly from any webpage using your preferred AI provider. Transphrase works only when you actively select text or trigger it via shortcut or context menu. FEATURES - Translate between 30+ languages - 8 paraphrasing modes: Formal, Casual, Academic, Shorter, Simpler, Native, Expand, Persuasive - Quick translation tooltip on selected text - Sidebar panel for longer text - Supports multiple AI providers (bring your own API key) - Keyboard shortcuts (Alt+T, Alt+Q) - Local history storage - Dark mode support HOW IT WORKS 1. Install the extension 2. Add your API key in Settings 3. Select text and choose "Translate with Transphrase" or use a shortcut 4. View results in a tooltip or sidebar PRIVACY - Transphrase does not collect or store personal data - Text is processed only when you explicitly select it - Selected text is sent directly to your configured AI provider for processing - No background data collection, tracking, or analytics - All settings are stored locally in your browser SUPPORTED PROVIDERS Supports multiple AI providers.
