Canvas scatters your deadlines across courses, modules, and however many tabs you have open. Kandue pulls them into one panel: overdue, due today, coming up. The panel floats over whatever page you are on, so it opens from the toolbar anywhere, not only inside Canvas. There is no Kandue server Kandue has no backend. There is no account to create and no database on our end holding your coursework. It is read from your school's Canvas straight into your browser, and it stays there. Priorities are ranked inside the extension. Quizzes are written by Chrome's own built-in AI model, running on your computer. Free, and there is no paid tier. What you get - One queue of every deadline, ordered by what to tackle first, each card carrying how urgent it is, what kind of work it is, an hour estimate and the reason it sits where it does. Worked out in the panel with no waiting, and the estimates adjust as you report how long work actually takes. - Practice quizzes: turn a course, an assignment, or the Canvas page you're reading into a quick predict-then-reveal quiz. It asks you to commit to an answer before it shows you the right one, which is what makes it stick. - Summarize: the key points of a long instructor post or a dense assignment brief, without opening it. - Translate: that same post or brief in your own language, from 17 of them. - Your announcements and assignments in one place instead of ten. How it works Kandue reads your assignments through Canvas's own API on your existing logged-in session. No API key, no password, nothing to set up. Writing to Canvas is off until you ask for it Out of the box Kandue never changes anything on Canvas. Ticking an assignment off marks it done here only. If you would rather the two agreed, one setting turns on write-back, and then a tick also marks that assignment done on your own Canvas planner. That is the only thing it can write. It cannot submit work, post replies or send messages. Quizzes, summaries, and translation all use Chrome's built-in AI, which runs on your own machine. That needs a desktop Chrome with enough disk space and memory to hold the model. Kandue's Settings tells you whether yours qualifies, and hides those features rather than offering buttons that fail. Deadlines and priorities work on any Chrome. Privacy Your coursework is never transmitted. The only server Kandue contacts is your own school's Canvas. Nothing goes to us or to any AI provider.
