KanbanFlow Helper: Search & Add Above

Search KanbanFlow boards privately, copy subtasks, and add tasks or subtasks exactly above existing items.

KanbanFlow Helper adds private board search, flexible subtask copying, and precise insert-above controls to KanbanFlow. Search features: - Use the magnifying-glass button beside KanbanFlow's Filter control. - Search task titles, descriptions, subtasks, labels, members, columns, swimlanes, colors, task numbers, dates, time estimates, and custom-field display text. - Choose All words, Exact phrase, Fuzzy, or Advanced Boolean search with phrases, parentheses, field filters, status filters, and date filters. - Click a result's task title to return to and highlight its board card. - Click a matching-field snippet to open task details and highlight that description, subtask, label, or other field. - Search loaded tasks immediately. Additional active-column pages are indexed only when requested, and the potentially large rightmost/Done column requires separate confirmation. Subtask copy features: - Open the subtasks section's three-dot menu and choose "Copy subtasks…". - Copy All, Checked, or Unchecked subtasks in their displayed order. - Choose plain text with one name per line or Markdown checkboxes that preserve completion state. - See a success count after copying and a clear error when no subtasks match. Insert-above features: - Right-click a KanbanFlow task and select "Add task above." - On phones and touch devices, open a task, tap the + menu, and select "Add task above." - Open a subtask's three-dot menu and select "Add subtask above." - The native empty subtask editor appears directly above the selected subtask, including in long lists. - Uses KanbanFlow's native task and subtask editors. - Does not interfere with normal task dragging or long-press behavior. Privacy: - The extension runs only on KanbanFlow board pages. - Search data stays in the current browser tab and disappears when the page is refreshed or closed. - Optional indexing requests additional tasks directly from KanbanFlow using the existing signed-in session. - Copying writes the selected subtask text to the system clipboard only after the user presses Copy; the extension never reads clipboard contents. - It does not send task information, account information, copied text, or usage information to the developer or any third party. - It does not use analytics, advertising, remote code, or external services.
