Overview

Capture full-page screenshots, annotate them, and save as PDF.

Kamra turns any web page into a clean screenshot you can mark up, redact, and export — without leaving your browser. CAPTURE • Full page — Kamra scrolls the page for you and stitches every section into one tall image. • Visible area — grab exactly what is on screen. • Select area — drag to pick any region of the page. FULL-PAGE CAPTURE THAT ACTUALLY LOOKS RIGHT Sticky headers appear once, where they belong, instead of being stamped down the middle of the image. Cookie bars and chat bubbles are dropped rather than baked in one screen down. Lazy-loaded images are given time to decode before each slice is taken, so you get the real page instead of blank placeholders. The scrollbar is cropped out of the result, and very long pages are scaled down automatically rather than failing. ANNOTATE A full editor opens right after the capture: • Pen, marker, arrow, line, rectangle and ellipse • Auto-numbered step badges for walkthroughs — click to drop 1, 2, 3… • Text labels: multi-line, and right-to-left scripts such as Arabic render correctly • Crop freely or to a fixed aspect ratio • Undo, redo, zoom and pan • An eraser that removes annotations only — it never punches holes in your screenshot REDACT BEFORE YOU SHARE Blur softens a region; pixelate applies a mosaic. Use pixelate for anything genuinely sensitive — account numbers, email addresses, names, tokens. EXPORT • PNG — lossless • JPG — smaller, with a quality slider • PDF — a real PDF document; tall captures are split into printable A4 pages • Copy — straight to the clipboard PDF pagination is a choice, not a guess: Auto keeps page-shaped captures on one page and splits tall ones, A4 pages always splits, and One long page never does. KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS From any tab: Ctrl+Shift+S captures the full page, Ctrl+Shift+V the visible area. In the editor: V select, P pen, H marker, A arrow, R rectangle, C ellipse, L line, N step, T text, B blur, I pixelate, E eraser, X crop. Ctrl+Z undo, Ctrl+S save PNG, Ctrl+P save PDF, Ctrl+C copy. Ctrl + wheel zooms on the pointer; Space + drag pans. Rebind any of it at chrome://extensions/shortcuts OPTIONAL AUTOMATION • Auto-capture the visible area after each page finishes loading • Auto-save a PDF right after every capture • Open the editor automatically after a capture (on by default) YOUR SCREENSHOTS STAY ON YOUR COMPUTER Kamra has no account, no sign-in and no analytics. Captures are processed in your own browser and stored locally on your machine. Nothing is uploaded to any server. The single outgoing link in the extension is an optional PayPal donation link that only opens if you click it yourself. WHY EACH PERMISSION IS NEEDED • activeTab, tabs, scripting — to read the page you ask Kamra to capture, and to scroll it while stitching a full-page shot. • storage, unlimitedStorage — to keep your most recent capture and your settings on your own device. Screenshots are large, which is why the unlimited variant is required. WHAT KAMRA CANNOT CAPTURE Chrome does not allow extensions to read chrome:// pages, the Chrome Web Store, devtools, view-source:, about: or local file:// pages. The capture buttons are disabled there.
