Applies KahfGuard's website rules and daily time limits inside the browser. Needs the KahfGuard service running on this computer.

KahfGuard is a parental-control product for Windows. This extension is the browser half of it: it applies the website rules and daily time limits a parent has already set up in the KahfGuard app on the same computer. It does nothing on its own. Without KahfGuard installed and running on that computer, the extension has no rules to apply and blocks nothing. WHAT IT DOES • Blocks the sites a parent has blocked, including every subdomain, and shows a KahfGuard block page instead of a browser error. • Enforces daily time limits per site. When a site's minutes for the day run out, the tab the child is on is sent to the block page straight away, not just the next time they open the site. • Puts the child back on the site the moment a parent grants more time, or when the day rolls over. • Turns off short-form video feeds (Reels, Shorts, Spotlight) on the platforms a parent selected, while leaving the rest of the site usable. • Counts each site's minutes accurately, so the daily-limit figures and the usage dashboard in the KahfGuard app reflect what was actually browsed. • Respects the parent's choice of how a block is presented, including a silent mode that shows no KahfGuard page at all. PRIVACY Everything stays on the computer. The extension talks to one address, 127.0.0.1:58232 — the KahfGuard service on the same machine — and to nothing else. It sends the domain of the active tab (for example youtube.com) so the right site is credited with the time; it never sends full web addresses, page contents, titles, history or anything you type, and Kahf Software Ltd receives no data from it at all.
