For notifications make sure you've enabled your notifications on windows/mac; For windows: 1. Click windows key and lookup 'Notifications & actions settings' 2. Scroll down up to "Get notifications from these senders" section 3. Look for chrome/brave 4. Switch from "off" to "on" For MacOS: To change these preferences, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Notifications.
