Reddit already contains the answer to most of what you are about to ask. Finding it means guessing the right keywords and reading one subreddit at a time. This extension adds a single panel to Reddit post pages. Open it and it searches millions of Reddit discussions by meaning rather than by keyword, then shows you the closest conversations from anywhere on Reddit - not only the subreddit you happen to be in. WHAT IT DOES • Similar discussions across Reddit On any Reddit post, one click surfaces related threads from every subreddit. Because the search works on meaning, "should I close my small business after two years" finds "please convince me not to give up" - two posts that share no keywords at all. • Search from anywhere, no account needed Type "rd" in the address bar followed by a question, or select text on any page and right-click to search it. Both open your results on reddapi.dev. • Find leads from a discussion Turn a thread into a list of people describing the problem your product solves, with the context that tells you whether it is worth replying. HOW IT BEHAVES The panel starts collapsed and sends nothing until you open it. It never searches in the background, never prefetches, and never reacts to you merely scrolling past a post. You decide when a search happens. The only server it talks to is reddapi.dev. It does not read your browsing history and sends no page content beyond the title of the post whose panel you opened. GETTING STARTED The address bar keyword and the right-click search work the moment you install. To use the in-page panel, click the toolbar icon and sign in - the extension then receives an API key tied to your own reddapi.dev account, stored locally in your browser. You can revoke it at any time by regenerating your key on reddapi.dev. A free reddapi.dev account includes a small number of searches. Paid plans raise the limit; the panel will tell you plainly when you have reached it, and when it resets.
