Anonymize personal data on web pages, locally and without network access.

Andomize hides personal data on the pages you visit. It replaces real names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, postal codes and dates of birth with fake values or masks, so you can take screenshots, record demos, share your screen or test software without exposing real people's information. Everything happens inside your browser. Andomize makes no network requests, has no analytics and uses no servers. WHAT IT DETECTS • Names, including titles such as Mr, Mrs, Ms and Dr • Email addresses • Phone numbers (North American and international) • Street addresses • Canadian postal codes and US ZIP codes • Dates of birth, when labelled (for example "DOB: 03/12/1985" or "born on March 3, 1985") and in birthday form fields TWO REPLACEMENT MODES • Fake data: realistic, consistent stand-ins. The same real value always becomes the same fake value on a page. Emails use example.com and phone numbers use the 555-01xx range. • Mask: labels such as [NAME], [EMAIL], [PHONE], [ADDRESS], [POSTAL] and [DOB]. WORKS WHERE YOUR DATA IS • Visible page text • Input and textarea values and placeholders (for fields that look like personal data) • Pages that update dynamically ANONYMIZE SELECTION Select any text, right-click and choose "Anonymize selection". It always replaces what you selected, even when nothing is detected and even when protection is off or the site is on your allowlist. A short notice tells you how many items were replaced. YOU STAY IN CONTROL • Turn protection on or off from the toolbar popup • Choose which data types to anonymize • Pause Andomize on specific sites with the allowlist • Turning protection off restores the original page • Light and dark toolbar icons that follow your system theme PRIVACY BY DESIGN • All detection and replacement run locally in your browser • No data is collected, stored, sold or transmitted • Original values and the real-to-fake mapping stay in memory only, for the current page, and are never saved • Only your settings (on/off, mode, data types, allowlist) are saved, using Chrome sync • No remote code and no third-party libraries at runtime Created by mogaweb.ca (https://mogaweb.ca/?ref=andomize).
