Record tab audio, trim the part you need, and export WAV or MP3. K-Sample records audio playing in a browser tab and lets you choose an export range in a waveform editor. Record, trim, audition and save from one interface. FEATURES • Record audio from the tab you select, including while the popup is closed. • Set START and END with waveform handles or precise time fields. • Detect leading and trailing silence with Auto trim. • Zoom and pan, choose an independent preview position, and loop playback. • Normalize the selected range, adjust gain, apply fades or export in mono. • Export WAV at 32 / 44.1 / 48 / 96 kHz (16/24 bit), or MP3 at 32 / 44.1 / 48 kHz (128–320 kbps). • Keep a recording library, protect recordings and configure automatic cleanup. • Customize file names and save destinations. Use song information when the page provides it. • Estimate BPM and musical key locally from the selected range. • Choose light, dark or system appearance, and open a larger editor window. LOCAL PROCESSING Audio processing and storage run in your browser. Recordings and page information are not sent to an analysis server. No microphone permission or permanent access to all websites is requested. English and Japanese are supported. Requires desktop Chrome 116 or later. Each recording can be up to 60 minutes long. Audio is recorded internally at 44.1 kHz and converted to your selected sample rate on export. Song information depends on the source page; BPM and key are estimates.
