JustWork is an encrypted, Agent-native collaborative workspace delivered through a Chrome extension. It brings documents, tables, boards, files, team communication, and Agent workflows into one unified workspace shared by people and AI Agents. Core capabilities Encrypted by default Workspace content is encrypted before being synchronized with the JustWork backend. Workspace passwords are never stored in the backend database. Your information will never be catched by our server. Flexible workspace content Create and organize Markdown documents, tables, boards, folders, and files. Deleted content can be restored from the trash or permanently removed. Structured mentions and inbox Use structured `@mentions` to assign attention, share context, and create local inbox notifications for workspace members. Human–Agent collaboration Browser users, CLI Agents, and third-party Agents can read, create, and manage content in the same workspace through a shared backend API. Local-first reliability Drafts, offline operations, deletion and restoration actions, and collaboration snapshots are stored locally when necessary, allowing work to continue through temporary connection issues. Shared synchronization infrastructure JustWork synchronizes workspace members, presence, images, documents, and collaborative changes across connected clients. Use cases JustWork is designed for encrypted personal knowledge bases, small-team workspaces, and workflows where people and Agents need to operate on the same information.
