Turn the video you're watching into text without leaving the tab. Open a public video on YouTube or on a social platform such as TikTok or Instagram, click the JustTranscribe icon, and the full transcript appears in the popup, usually within a minute. Every line carries its timestamp, so you can find a moment and jump back to it. From the popup you can copy the text, download subtitles for your own edits, or open the transcript in your JustTranscribe library, where you also get an AI summary, the key moments, a translation into the language you need, and a downloadable document. The extension works with a free JustTranscribe account and transcription is free during the beta. It reads nothing from the pages you visit and stores nothing about your browsing: the only thing it sends is the link of the video you choose to transcribe, and only when you click the button. Not for private or login-only videos, and not for live streams.
