Rewrites clickbait headlines on MyBroadband and BusinessTech into what the article actually says.

Just Tell Me, Bru! fixes that on MyBroadband and BusinessTech. Each headline is rewritten into the fact it was hiding: • "Over 220 businesses liquidated in South Africa" becomes "Stats SA recorded 227 business liquidations in August, down 15.3% year on year" • "Hundreds of Volkswagen Amarok bakkies recalled in South Africa" becomes "Volkswagen Group Africa recalls 291 Amarok double-cab bakkies over curtain airbag fault" What it does • Rewrites headlines into plain, factual ones that name who it's about and what happened • Turns "5 Things" roundups into a short numbered list of the stories inside • Keeps the site's original headline underneath in small grey type (or hide it) • Labels sponsored posts as sponsored, with an option to fade them out • Every headline still links to the original article, so the sites still get your visit Why In a test of 198 recent headlines from both sites, a reader shown only the headline could tell what actually happened 27% of the time.
