Just QR Me reads QR codes on your desktop and builds new ones locally. Use the popup for a quick scan, keep the controls beside the page in Chrome's side panel, or open QR Studio to design your own. A short guided tour walks through every tool the first time you open it, and the guide icon replays it whenever you want. Read a code: • Snip: drag a box around one code on screen. The most precise option. • Page: find whatever is visible in the current tab. • Image: paste, drop, or pick an image file. • Link: turn the address of the tab you are on into a code. Design in QR Studio: • Build for a website, plain text, a phone number, SMS, email, a Wi-Fi network, a contact card, a location, or a social profile. • Set the module shape to squares, rounded squares, dots, or diamonds. • Reshape the three corner markers, and color the modules, markers, and background separately. • Add an optional PNG, JPG, or WebP logo in the middle and size it to taste. Every design is verified on your device as you work, so you know it still scans. Save the result as PNG or SVG, send it to the printer, or keep it for later. Results and local storage: A successful read offers Copy, Open, PNG, SVG, and Print straight away. The last 50 results stay on this device with thumbnails and timestamps, and you can export them to CSV, either all at once or a filtered selection. The side panel keeps reading, storage, export, and design tools beside the tab while you browse, sharing the same local data as the popup. Rebuild and print: Anything you have read can be rebuilt from its decoded value for a sharper printed pattern. Pick Letter or A4, portrait or landscape, inches or centimeters, the finished size, spacing between copies, error correction, and how many you need, with either standard cut guides or a beveled outline. Styles and logos carry through to the sheet. Make it yours: Switch between Light, Dark, or Auto to follow your system. Pick from five typefaces, scale text from 8 to 36 px, turn on bold or high contrast, use a color-safe palette, and set the interface language. Drag the popup's left edge to widen it. Keyboard shortcuts cover opening the extension, snipping, reading the screen, and building from a link, and Chrome lets you rebind them. Privacy: Reading, decoding, building, style checks, saved results, CSV export, downloads, and printing all happen inside the extension on your device. Nothing you capture or type is sent to the developer or to any server we control. Link reads the address of the active tab only after you pick that action. Page and Snip access the visible tab only after you start a read. When an image is needed at full resolution, Chrome may fetch it from its original site. What you type into QR Studio, including phone numbers, message text, Wi-Fi credentials, contact details, and coordinates, is processed on the device. It is stored only when you ask to keep it. A logo you pick stays on the device and is saved only alongside a design you keep. Print jobs use temporary Chrome session storage. After a read you start, the first decoded value goes to your clipboard. Copy stays available from any stored result. CSV, PNG, and SVG files are written only when you ask for them.
