)Overview
Place three movable points in long ChatGPT conversations and jump between them instantly.
Jump Points gives you three movable points inside your ChatGPT conversations. Select text anywhere in a conversation to place a Jump Point, then jump back to that position whenever you need it. Your three points can live across different ChatGPT conversations and can be replaced as your work moves. Jump Points is designed for long conversations where scrolling back and forth becomes cumbersome. Features: • Three global Jump Points • Jump between positions in the same or different ChatGPT conversations • Navigate through long, lazily rendered conversations • Use surrounding context to distinguish repeated text • Stop an in-progress jump at any time by clicking • Quickly replace old Jump Points with new ones • Store Jump Point data locally in your browser Jump Points are a working set, not a bookmark archive. There are intentionally only three: keep the places you are actively moving between within reach, then replace them when you no longer need them. Requirements: Jump Points currently works with signed-in ChatGPT conversations. Logged-out ChatGPT sessions are not supported. Privacy: Jump Point data is stored locally using Chrome extension storage. Jump Points does not require its own account or a remote backend.
