Judgy
Overview
One click, one honest 1-10 for the product, article, or post you're looking at. Glossy photos don't move the score.
Is it actually good, or does it just look good? Judgy answers that in one click. It reads the page you're on and rates the thing it's about, a product, an article, a post, from 1 to 10. Not the photography. Not the brand story. Not the price. The thing itself: what it's made of, how it's built, whether the reviews smell right, whether the article actually says anything. Every score comes with a one-line verdict, the kind a friend who knows the category would give you. "Great steel, lazy handle." "Original reporting, thin sourcing." Tap "Say more" and Judgy explains what the score turned on, so you also learn what to look for next time. Fair warning: Judgy grades honestly. A 5 means average, and most things are average. A 9 is rare and earned. Marketing copy and glossy photos don't move the number. Disclosed materials, real construction details, and track record do. If you want something that calls everything amazing, this isn't it. Works on product listings, articles, Substack, tweets, and most pages that are about a thing. Once a page has a verdict, the toolbar icon shows it at a glance. Privacy: Judgy reads a page's content only when you click it. The toolbar score works by checking the address of the page you're on (the address only, never the content) against verdicts that already exist, and addresses without one aren't stored.
