JSON Payload Formatter
Overview
Un utilitaire simple et discret pour intercepter, inspecter et minifier les payloads JSON envoyés par WebSocket ou Fetch/XHR.
JSON Payload Formatter is a lightweight, non-intrusive developer utility designed to help frontend engineers and QA testers monitor outgoing network traffic. When developing complex Single Page Applications (SPAs) or interacting with real-time APIs, tracking the exact structure of outgoing JSON data can be tedious. This extension operates silently in the background (Main World context) to intercept, inspect, and optionally format payloads before they hit the wire. Key Features: 🔌 Seamless Interception: Automatically hooks into native WebSocket.send() and window.fetch() methods. 📦 Payload Minification: Reduce unnecessary whitespace in your outgoing JSON strings to test bandwidth-optimized endpoints. 🛑 XHR Fallback: Legacy support for intercepting XMLHttpRequest payloads. ⚡ Zero Performance Hit: Carefully designed using native Proxies to ensure zero layout thrashing or event loop blocking. 🔒 Privacy First: All processing happens entirely local to your browser. No data is ever logged externally or sent to third-party servers. How to use: Simply click the extension icon to open the configuration panel. Toggle minification or pretty-printing on the fly without needing to reload the active tab or keep the DevTools network tab constantly open. Perfect for debugging GraphQL mutations, Matrix/Discord webhooks, or high-frequency WebSocket streams.
