JSON Lens — Fast JSON Viewer
Overview
Turns raw JSON pages into a clean, dark, collapsible viewer with search, copy path, and smooth handling of huge files.
JSON Lens turns any raw JSON page into a clean, readable, interactive viewer — instantly and entirely on your device. When you open an API response or a .json file, your browser normally shows a wall of unformatted text. JSON Lens detects that the page is JSON and replaces it with a syntax-highlighted, collapsible tree. ✨ WHAT YOU GET • Syntax highlighting — keys, strings, numbers, booleans and null in distinct colors. • Collapse & expand any object or array; collapsed nodes show a quick "{…} N keys" / "[…] N items" summary. • Expand all / Collapse all in one click. • Search across keys and values, with match highlighting and next/previous navigation. • Copy the whole JSON, copy a single value, or copy the exact path to any node (e.g. $.users[3].email). • Toggle between the parsed viewer and the original raw text. • A clean dark theme that's easy on the eyes. 🚀 BUILT FOR HUGE FILES Most JSON viewers freeze on large responses. JSON Lens uses virtual rendering — it only draws the rows you can actually see — so multi-megabyte files with tens of thousands of items open in seconds and stay smooth. 🔒 PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No permissions and no host permissions requested. • No network requests — everything happens locally in your browser. • No accounts, no tracking, no ads, no remote code. • It only ever touches a page that is already JSON; on everything else it does nothing. Free. Open the JSON, and read it the way it was meant to be read.
