JSON Inspector
Overview
Renders JSON responses as a searchable, collapsible tree with JSONPath queries and big-number safety.
JSON Inspector renders any JSON response as a tree you can actually work with. • Collapsible tree with syntax colours, rendered lazily so large documents stay fast; long arrays are split into ranges instead of freezing the tab. • Filter by any text across keys and values — including collapsed branches the browser's own find cannot see — and jump between matches. • Run JSONPath queries: $.data.items[*].id, $..email, $.items[2:5], $['odd key']. • Big integers keep their original digits instead of being rounded, and every number that JavaScript would corrupt is flagged. • Duplicate keys are underlined and counted, so silently discarded data becomes visible. • Broken JSON shows the error with its line, column and the offending line, instead of nothing. • JSON Lines, JSONP callbacks and anti-hijacking prefixes are recognised automatically. • Copy any value or its path, or copy and download the whole document, pretty-printed or minified, with keys sorted if you like. • Keyboard driven: Ctrl/Cmd+F or / to filter, arrows to walk the tree, c to copy a value, p to copy a path. • Light, dark and system themes, configurable indent, font size and auto-expand depth. Privacy: everything happens locally in your browser. The extension makes no network requests, has no analytics, and never sends the documents you view anywhere.
